Sony Ericsson MBW-200 Evening Classic watch
Sin$498 (black leather or brushed metal strap) and $588 (crystal-studded face with white leather strap), from all Sony Ericsson and SonyStyle stores and authorised resellers

IF THE Bluetooth earpiece is the king of driver aids, Sony Ericsson's Bluetooth watch must be the queen.
The elegant timepiece displays a caller ID and rumbles on your wrist when a call comes to your Sony Ericsson cellphone.
The caller's contact saved in your phone shows up on the watch's light-emitting diode (LED) display.
Press the top right button on its side - once to mute and twice to reject the call.
It is a nifty gadget for geek gals. No more rummaging through the contents of your handbag to mute a ringing cellphone or wondering who is calling when you are driving.
If you want to answer the call, simply use your Bluetooth earpiece.
You will not miss an SMS alert either. The watch vibrates to alert you and the SMS envelope icon appears on its LED display.
The watch functions as a music controller too, so you no longer have to keep referring to your phone when you want to listen to your music.
To display a track's title, all you need to do is press the top right button three times.
Press the left middle button to play or stop a music track. Press and hold the top left button to forward a track. Press and hold the bottom left key to go back to the previous track.
Unfortunately, you cannot control the volume of the music with the watch - a handy feature which Sony Ericsson might want to consider for future models.
Also, I find the LED screen a tad too small for comfortable viewing.
The watch itself, however, should not be made any bigger. Already, it is a little too big for my narrow wrist.

Final say
The gadget's price can buy you two sports watches. So it may not be worth it if you are not tech savvy to begin with. For geek gals, though, it is a perfect fit.
